Gear type couplings: High torque and misalignment capacity
Torque capacity independent from misalignment - Transparent coupling selection. Thanks to the patented ESCOGEAR Multicrown profile (used on the F and C...M series), the optimised coupling design and the standard use of 12.9 quality bolts, the ESCOGEAR couplings offer the user a very high torque capacity. This means that for a given torque a smaller coupling can be used which results in more efficient machine design and performance. Furthermore, this high torque is available at important angular misalignment.

Disc type couplings: DPU, DMU & DLC
Thanks to the standard use of shipping screws and the factory assembled transmission unit, ESCODISC DPU couplings combine the high torque and misalignment capacity of the DMU couplings with easiness of assembly. On average users can cut down assembly and disassembly costs by 50% when using ESCODISC DPU couplings. Furthermore, because the transmission unit is factory assembled, the risk for assembly errors is reduced to an absolute minimum level which results in reliable operation and extended life of the coupling.

Elastic type couplings: ESCOFLEX A, S & R
Classical execution with rubber inserts and cast-iron hubs, the ESCOFLEX A couplings are made for applications with torque up to 2,850 Nm and bores from 9 to 100 mm. They are suited for short coupled motor speed applications and light duty machinery. On the other hand, composed of 3 components only, 1 rubber insert and with 2 Zamak hubs, the ESCOFLEX S & R are made for motor speed applications mainly with torque up to 38 Nm and bores from 6 to 42 mm.

Grid type couplings
The ESCOGRID series couplings have a lubricated design that combines the economy and high torque capacity of a gear coupling with the torsional flexibility of an elastomer coupling. Used for general purposes, ESCOGRID couplings have a unique ability to reduces vibration by as much as 30%, and cushions shock loads to safeguard driving and driven power transmission equipment. The grid spring element absorbs impact energy by spreading it out over time, and thus reduces the magnitude of the peak loads.
