ESCOGEAR type Couplings
ESCOGEAR F-Series |
|
---|---|
The ESCOGEAR coupling is a torsionally rigid grease filled coupling consisting of two hubs with external multicrown and two flanged sleeves with straight internal teeth. The flanged sleeves are bolted together with high strength corrosion protected fitted bolts and nuts. The sleeve is at the opposite side of the flange executed with an endcap (internal for small and screwed for big size couplings) in which the o-ring is located for sealing purposes. The ESCOGEAR coupling has been designed to transmit the torque between these two flanges through friction avoiding fretting corrosion between these faces. | |

ESCOGEAR FTRN-Series |
|
---|---|
Gear couplings are lubricated type couplings with the highest torque capacity. The ESCOGEAR FTRN series couplings basically consist of two hubs with external teeth connected by means of two internally geared sleeves or so called flanges. Gear couplings in general accommodate angular and axial misalignments. Where the angular misalignment is determined by the gearing geometry, the axial capacity varies according to the manufacturer and can be large. The possibility of selecting a specific gear configuration enables specific challenges to be met. | |

ESCOGEAR C & CM-Series |
|
---|---|
The ESCOGEAR C & CM series are substantially lighter in weight than the ESCOGEAR F-series. These compact designs make the ESCOGEAR C & CM series ideal for use in applications where space is limited and weight is important. Two versions are available: the CST for bores up to 110 mm and the CST...M configuration for larger bores. | |

ESCOGEAR N-Series |
|
---|---|
The ESCOGEAR N series couplings basically consist of two hubs with external teeth connected by means of one single internally geared sleeve and sealed by two flanges. This is a limited series as a light version of the ESCOGEAR F series couplings accommodating angular and axial misalignments. Where the angular misalignment is determined by the gearing geometry, the axial capacity varies according to the manufacturer and can be great. The ESCOGEAR N series couplings are generally made out of carbon steel Ck45 and the flanges of stamped steel. | |

ESCOGEAR High Speed-Series |
|
---|---|
The ESCOGEAR High-Speed series couplings are lubricated type couplings, also called high-performance gear couplings. Used in high-power/high-speed applications, they incorporate specific and high-precision gear geometrics as well as a dedicated cooling/lubrication system based on grease or oil, to allow for long continuous running periods without maintenance. The couplings design may differ as a function of the application and the characteristics of machines to be connected and hence full data are required for coupling design. The ESCOGEAR High-Speed series is robust and reliable. It meets the specific requirements of the various rotating machines in the medium and heavy industries. | |

ESCOGEAR FWMO Variant |
|
---|---|
The ESCOGEAR FWMO series couplings basically consist out of 2 rigid hubs maintained on the machines shafts and a floating spool spacer incorporating the gear coupling. Gear couplings in general accommodate angular and axial misalignments. Where the angular misalignment is determined by the gearing geometry, the axial capacity varies according to the manufacturer and can be large depending on the application. The possibility of selecting a specific gearing configuration enables specific challenges to be met. | |
